About Us
Built by a Pro. Proven by a Newcomer. Open to Everyone.
We built this nonprofit at the intersection of elite expertise and grassroots grit. Co-founded by "Monster Matt" Paul—a 10th Planet Black Belt and world champion with over 30 professional fights—and Meghan Pritt—who stepped onto the mat at 44, transformed her life, and proved it’s never too late to start.
Our community is driven by these two distinct journeys, bridging the gap between pro-level technique and real-world community impact. Whether you’re a professional fighter sharpening your edge or a white belt building lifelong confidence, you belong here. We offer world-class martial arts rooted in resilience, discipline, and growth for every level, every age, and every body on the mat.
Matt Paul | Co-Founder
Founded by professional fighter and 10th Planet Black Belt Matt Paul, AKA Monster Matt and Meghan Pritt, this nonprofit brings together elite competition experience and real-world community impact.
Matt is a seasoned combat sports athlete with over 30 fights across MMA, kickboxing, and grappling, having competed on major stages like Bellator, LFA, Glory Kickboxing, and EBI. A Combat Wrestling World Champion and lifelong martial artist, Matt has dedicated his life to pushing limits and helping others do the same. Through his journey from wrestling to black belt under 10th Planet Chicago, he has built not just a skillset, but a philosophy rooted in resilience, discipline, and growth.

At the heart of Wrestle Up is a simple idea: Jiu Jitsu and other combat sports changes lives—and everyone deserves access to that transformation!

Meghan Pritt | Co-Founder
Meghan represents the life-changing power of stepping onto the mat at any age. Starting Jiu Jitsu at 44 years old in 2024, currently a three-stripe white belt at Leverage (also known as 10th Planet Superior), Meghan has competed in eight Jiu Jitsu competitions and serves as a kids coach at Leverage. Jiu Jitsu has transformed her life, fueling a 50-pound weight loss, building lasting confidence, and surrounding her with a strong, supportive community. Beyond the mats, Meghan brings extensive fundraising experience, having raised over $1 million for schools across Colorado.
Together, Matt and Meghan are building more than a program; they’re building a movement grounded in grit, growth, and community.
